Exercise Opportunities

We all know how important regular exercise is to our health. But some days are so crazy; it’s hard to fit it in. On those days, look for little exercise opportunities, like sweeping your front walk, raking some leaves, dancing or marching in place during TV shows. Stretch a little. Do some crunches during commercials. Throw the ball for the dog, walk to the library, park at the far end of the parking lot, vacuum. Wash your car. Meet a friend for a walk instead of a frappachino. Get up and go to a co-worker’s office, instead of calling or e-mailing. Try to accumulate 30 minutes a day of activity, and it will go a long way toward improving your health.
